One of the new teams that will join the Euroformula Open in 2026 is Italian squad G_Motorsport. In a statement, the Modena-based squad has confirmed its presence, expected to be a two-car entry.
G_Motorsport has been a dominant force in Italian single-seater competitions, notably clinching five FX2 titles in six years, and is now eager to step up to the international scene.
Team Principal Andrea Giannetta explained : “We are ready and determined to take on this new challenge in the Euroformula Open. Over the past few months, we have prepared with great meticulousness, conducting several test sessions that have yielded positive results and very encouraging results. Our team has always stood out for its attention to detail, and this has allowed us to achieve several successes at the national level over the years. Now we want to look beyond our borders, and the reality organized by GT Sport seems like the ideal context in which to do so: we have gained extensive experience in managing Formula 3 single-seaters, and the 324 model also represents a highly competitive and stimulating challenge for us to tackle”.
