Enzo Yeh is the first poleman of the year. The Taipei-born driver of Team Motopark took no prisoners in the very first qualifying session of the year, held in glorious weather at the Autódromo do Algarve. Yeh stopped the clock in 1.35.283 by two thirds of the session beating teammate Diego de la Torre, who was holding P1 until then. Eventually, the gap between the two was 0s380.
After conquering his first EFO pole, Yeh commented: “It is a very good result after a couple of days of good work. I quite like this track, with all its ups-and-downs and everything went smooth. We’ll see what Race 1 brings, I’ll just try to stay cool and do my best.”
In second row will be Everett Stack (+0s391) and Jesse Crrasquedo (+0s445), with Lorenzo Castillo (+0s665) and the best BVM Racing driver, Alessandro Famularo (+0s685).
