The Euroformula Open today discovered the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, a completely new venue in the Euroformula Open calendar. The Romagna track welcomed participants with a typical late Spring day: storms in the morning and warm humid weather in the afternoon.
The two free practice sessions were therefore completely different, and best lap times were logically posted in the afternoon. If a trio of Motopark drivers were fastest on wet track, with Everett Stack (1.45.593) beating his teammates Enzo Yeh (+0s355) and Diego de la Torre (+0s581), in the afternoon, it was the ‘local’ cars of BVM Racing, whose base is in close-by Ravenna, which shone ahead of everybody.
Alessandro Famularo (1.27.749) posted the fastest time, closely followed by Javier Herrera (+0s057), with championship leader Enzo Yeh in third (+0s184), preceding three other Motopark cars, Jesse Carrasquedo (+0s375), Everett Stack (+0s423) and Diego de la Torre (+0s426).
