David (Motopark) fastest on both dry and wet in Hockenheim’s free practice

It was a double-faced free practice day at the Hockenheimring, as muggy weather dominated the proceedings, yielding a dry session in the morning and then a wet one in the afternoon, but that did not have an impact on the standings leader, Yevan David, as he was the fastest driver on track in both.

The SriLankan of Motopark posted a time of 1.34.136 on dry track, beating his closest rival Tymek Kucharczyk (BVM Racing) by 0s196 and teammate José Garfias by 0s242.

In the afternoon, David’s time was 1.46.769, and his closest opponents were the same but in reversed order, with Garfias second 1s511 behind and Kucharczyk 1s639 off.

On dry track, Michael Shin (Motopark) was fourth-fastest (+0s364) ahead the first of the Nielsen Racing drivers, Ed Pearsons (+1s881), while on wet, Motoprk’s Diego de la Torre (+1s789) and Fernando Barrichello (+2s369) completed the top five.
