Britain’s Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing set to join the 2027 Euroformula Open

Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing joins the Euroformula Open, as confirmed today by GT Sport Organización. The Northampton-based squad has acquired three Tom’s-powered Dallara 324s and is preparing to make its debut in the series in 2027, as part of an ambitious expansion plan.

The team was launched last year, combining the strengths of Nitrous Competitions, which is a powerhouse contender in the Superbike scene, and ADM Racing, the team founded by Gary Ward, who, after reaching F3000 as a driver, has held various prominent managerial positions in the single-seater formulae scene.

The team competed in GB4 this year and, together with its partners, is now set to expand and step up its activities.

“When we looked at options beyond the UK, the Euroformula Open came as a natural choice”, says Team Principal Gary Ward, “The technical package, with the Dallara 324 chassis and the Tom’s engine, is arguably the best, the circuits are brilliant, and the GT Sport platform is great. I had the chance to work in Euroformula some years ago, and I was impressed by the level of professionalism of the organization and the excellent and friendly atmosphere, so we are over the moon to be able to compete in the Euroformula from next year onwards.  We believe the Euroformula has a massive future and we are thrilled by the prospect of contributing to bring back the series where it should be”.

David Williams, from Nitrous Competitions, added: “We’re delighted to be joining the Euroformula Open in 2027. It’s an exciting new chapter for the team as we expand into a new single-seater category alongside ADM Racing. Having just celebrated winning the British Superbike Championship this past weekend, it’s a great time for us to take on a new challenge, and we’re looking forward to being part of the series and contributing to its future.”

Jaime Pareja, General Manager of EFO, commented: “We extend a warm welcome to Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing and thank them for their support. It’s great news to have a new team, and such an enthusiastic one, on board. Reviving the ties with the UK that got loose after Brexit is certainly crucial for the re-launch of the series, and we are convinced that having a British squad in the field again and having a round in Silverstone back in our calendar will benefit the Euroformula tremendously.”
