Another Hahn in the racing : Celo debuts in Euroformula with BVM

An interesting rookie will make his debut in the Euroformula Open this weekend: Celo Hahn is the latest representative of the Hahn dynasty in the sport. He will race at the Hungaroring in one of BMV Racing’s Dallara 324, of course sporting the colours of Blau Motorsport. It will be the first international experience for the 17-year-old Brazilian driver, who has been racing regularly in Brazilian Formula 4 since last year.

"I'm really excited about this new experience. I'm sure it will be a big challenge for me, driving a faster car than I'm used to on a track I only know from the simulator. The goal at this stage is to get to know the car, live a different experience in motorsport, and gain mileage in different models," said Celo.

Marcelo Hahn jr, nicknamed Celo, is the son of GT Open star Marcelo Hahn, who competes this year in Am class of the series in a AF Corse Ferrari. He is following on the footsteps of his brother Christian, who competed in the Euroformula Open in 2017-19.  "I remember watching my brother race a few times, and it's really cool to be here. Plus, since Euroformula runs alongside GT Open, it'll be great fun to race here and also cheer on my dad," said Celo.
